The Williams-Sonoma demos are held in a large demo kitchen on the top floor of the Union Square store, from 12-2, most Saturdays of the month. Demos are done by local chefs or chefs in town on book tours. The demo space is much nicer than the Ferry Building, as it is a permanent space and indoors. The demos often tend to be of more elaborate dishes as well, since the time slot is much longer (although they rarely last the full two hours). They do have a much more formal feel to them however.
